- Used Coinbase API to convert flight prices returned by the airline's API into spot price values for each cryptocurrency (supported by Coinbase Commerce) and show that price on each of the airline's pricing screens.

- Set up and configured travel company website with 3000+ client accounts including base64-encoded photos and contact information stored in web portal's MySQL database. - Implemented "My Website": a Liferay add-on feature that provided 3000+ users with their personal, customizable, branded website. The users were provided with a control panel that allowed them to either keep initial set-up or add/remove their unique company logo and company information on their site's header and personalize their site with web booking engine, content management tools and widgets. This feature required implementing new packages and classes in Liferay portal's open source and modifying various database layout and user tables to extend Liferay's default public page implementation.

- Developed software for bulk newsletter send-outs (over 2000 client addresses) using email service API and extending "Blogs" (JSR-168) portlet functionality. The software let staff send out mass emails with the same HTML content used when publishing travel deal blogs. This implementation made the process of reaching out to clients with information about new deals and service notifications more efficient.
- The software categorized email addresses on public, client, and in-house notification groups so that, for example, "exclusive" deals would only be sent to company clients and general news and notifications to everyone else on the list. The software also had a "test mode" functionality implemented so that the blog publisher could send a test email to in-house staff to check if the content and formatting is acceptable to be sent to a wider audience.
- In addition, using webhook callbacks, the software provided statistical information (to user with administrative privileges) on the number of email bounces, opens, marks as spam, opt-outs (for public group) and total sent count for every completed send-out process.

- Improved client membership renewal, using PayPal API and webhook callbacks, so clients could securely renew their accounts, for a specified number of years using CAD or USD currency, straight from their secure web portal accounts without being redirected to an external resource.
- This solution provided a more convenient way for clients to renew their travel agency's membership and it no longer required manual intervention for office admin staff to process these renewals.
- The software instantly updated clients' renewal date in MySQL database sending renewal email notification to admin staff and another in-house member tracking database (PostgreSQL) was updated via SSH tunneling to have renewal information posted in client's account without delay by synchronization.
